After filling the pool with water, the first step is to measure and adjust the pH and chlorine levels.

Method of application

1.  For liquid measuring device (Orthotolidine + Phenol Red):
• Lower the test tube into the pool water to a depth of 20-50 cm, fill with water up to the mark and remove
• Add 4 drops of Orthotolidine reagent to the Cl sample tube and 4 drops of Phenol Red to the pH tube.
• Close the bottle and shake.
• After 10-15 seconds, the actual Cl and pH standards will be visible on the color scale.
• With the help of chemicals, it is necessary to normalize the optimal pool water standards: pH value 7.2 — 7.4, and Cl (chlorine) 0.3-0.6.

2. For measuring device with tablets (DPD1 + pH):
• Lower the test tube into the pool water, fill with water up to the mark and remove
• Add 1 tablet of DPD1 to the Cl tube and 1 tablet of Phenol Red (red reagent) to the pH tube.
• Close the bottle and shake.
• After 10-15 seconds, the actual Cl and pH levels will be visible on the color scale.
• With the help of special chemicals, it is necessary to normalize the optimal pool water standards: pH value 7.2 — 7.4, and Cl (chlorine) 0.3-0.6.

Attention
The measuring devices are intended exclusively for checking Cl and pH in pool water.
