To perform the test, remove the lid and fill the tester with water up to the top mark. Take the water sample 50 cm away from the edge of the pool at a depth of 5 cm. Place one DPD1 tablet into the CL measurement chamber and one Phenol Red tablet into the pH measurement chamber. Avoid contact of the tablets with your skin. Close the lid and shake the tester until the tablets are fully dissolved. Compare the resulting color with the color scale.
Recommended values: Chlorine not less than 0.5 mg/L, pH 7.0–7.4.
After testing, rinse the tester with clean water and store it in the protective case.
